The Practice
Awareness • Relationship • Movement
What it Feels Like
Awareness in Motion is a practice of bringing attention into your body and to how you move through life.
Rather than fixing or forcing change, we begin with gentle, curious awareness of what is already here.
Together, we notice your breath, sensations, areas of tension or pain, and the patterns of how you move, respond, and relate to yourself.
We also listen to your story, your experience, and your own inner knowing.
Sometimes this looks like conversation and reflection.
Sometimes guided movement or hands-on care.
Sometimes simply allowing space for your nervous system to settle.
From this place, change begins to emerge—
not through effort,
but through presence.
A Different Way of Relating
Much of what we’ve learned teaches us to override our bodies—
to push through pain
to disconnect from ourselves
to constantly try to fix what feels wrong.
This work moves in another direction.
Your body is not a problem to solve.
Your body is a living, intelligent organism, continually adapting to the world around you. Given the right conditions, your body has a remarkable capacity for healing, resilience, and reorganization.
This is not simply physical therapy.
This is not simply coaching.
This is not simply bodywork.
This is a practice of relationship—
with your body,
your experience,
and your Self.
The Body as a Place of Remembering
Our intention is practical and deeply human:
to reduce pain,
improve movement,
support nervous system health,
and create the conditions for lasting change.
Rather than applying a protocol, we work in relationship—listening to what is happening in your body and responding in real time.
Each session is shaped by what you bring,
and by what is emerging.

How We Work
We often think of the body as a place where pain, injury, or stress are stored.
But your body also holds wisdom, creativity, resilience, and an inherent capacity for wholeness.
As awareness deepens, you begin to notice:
how you have adapted
what needs care
what patterns no longer serve you
what is ready to soften and shift
how you want to move now
Over time, many people discover that their nervous system settles, old patterns soften, new possibilities emerge, and a deeper sense of presence begins to unfold.
Healing here is not about returning to who you once were.
It is about becoming more fully who you are.
-
Through awareness, presence, and connection, we explore how you inhabit yourself.
Through simple guided movement and embodied awareness, you begin to notice habitual patterns while discovering new possibilities for ease, stability, and expression.
This supports a more coherent relationship between your inner experience and outer expression—bringing greater stability, coordination, and ease not only in how you move your body, but in how you move through life.
This work is informed by somatic and embodiment practices, yoga, therapeutic exercise, and contemplative practice.
-
Living in a human body is both beautiful and challenging.
Over time, your nervous system learns patterns for responding to life. Some support health and connection. Others become protective responses that contribute to pain, tension, or feeling stuck.
Together, we learn to recognize these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment.
As awareness grows, so does your capacity to respond with greater flexibility, resilience, and choice.
-
If you are experiencing pain or physical limitation, we assess and treat injury, movement challenges, and functional concerns as part of our work together.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we consider how your whole system has adapted over time—to injury, stress, and life experience.
We pay attention to how your nervous system organizes your breathing, posture, movement, and overall sense of ease, creating opportunities for greater strength, mobility, and freedom through awareness, therapeutic exercise, hands-on care, and practical daily practices.
Here, pain becomes more than a symptom to eliminate.
It can become an invitation to listen more deeply to what your body is asking of you.
-
Gentle, attuned touch supports the release of tension, settling of the nervous system, restoration of mobility, and reconnection with a sense of grounding and ease.
Rather than working on your body, we work with your body—listening deeply and responding to what is present.
The intention is not to fix, but to invite your system to unwind old patterns and reorganize toward greater spaciousness, movement, and ease.
This work draws from neurovascular integration, craniosacral approaches, Zero Balancing, myofascial release, and energy-based practices.
Clients often report feeling more grounded, spacious, and able to move with greater comfort and freedom.
-
Mind-body coaching is an embodied, compassionate partnership that supports you in coming home to yourself through mindful awareness, attuned relationship, and curiosity.
Together, we explore the wisdom of your body through sensations, breath, movement, and nervous system awareness.
As awareness grows, old patterns begin to soften, opening the way for healing, new possibilities, and lasting change.
This work invites you to embody your wholeness and express yourself more fully in the world.
-
A reflective space to explore your inner life, your questions, and your unfolding path.
This is not about giving advice or direction.
It is about listening together—creating space for insight, meaning, and deeper connection with yourself, your spirituality, and what you hold as sacred.
Because my approach is body-centered, spiritual companionship may naturally include embodied awareness, movement, breath, and somatic practices that support integration and authentic expression.
-
Some of the deepest insights and most lasting changes happen between sessions.
